The owners of a computer store in Almuñecar have been arrested and charged with fraud.
The two owners of a computer store in Almuñecar have been arrested and accused of fraud after allegations that they were selling Mobile phones on the Internet, but then send boxes filled of sand to the purchasers.
The victims thought they had paid for a top of the range N-95 Nokia second hand phone for between 290 and 400 €, until their package arrived. So far a total of nine different victims of the fraud have been identified, but the Guardia Civil think that as many as 18 other packages were also sent.
The Civil Guard say the two men detained are a German man aged 22 and a Spanish girl aged 21, and had been selling the fake phones on the website segundamano.es
