Sol Classic Car Club supports Cudeca

The Sol Classic Car Club will be holding an event in support of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice on Saturday 7th June.
The event is open to the public and especially to those who own a classic car. All participants are asked to pay a 10 Euros entrance fee and meet at the “El Dorado film studios – Cine Hotel” near Cóin at 11am.
The idea is to get some of your friends or associates to sponsor your car to partake in the run, this in order to raise many funds for Cudeca. Just like sponsoring a conventional run or walk, or a swim etc, almost anyone will give 10 Euros considering that most people have either known someone or been associated with someone lost to cancer. If each car could find 10 sponsors then we will be really making a great contribution to such an important cause.

There will be a raffle on the day and there are some great prizes such as a free dinner for two at the prestigious Lonestar Brasserie in Puerto Banus, a beautiful skin-care products set donated by Peter & Sue Cross of Susan Molyneux, bottles of bubbly and more. If you would like to donate or collect some prizes for the raffle, please contact Ian Giles on 620 180 682.

The event will finish at the new CIO Hotel in La Cala, who will provide a parking and display area just for the cars. Banners and decorations will be in evidence at the hotel in support of Cudeca. There will also be collecting tins nearby which will be used to collect funds from the general public. There will be an excellent lunch on offer for 40 Euros all inclusive.
