The concert will finally be held in the Cervantes Theatre in the city. Other concerts planned across Spain have been cancelled.
The concert by Lou Reed as part of the Terral music festival in Málaga has now been confirmed to be held in the Cervantes Theatre and takes place on July 21.
There had been some debate on the search for a larger venue for the concert which is Lou Reed’s only date in Spain coming as the last date of his European Tour and which will feature his Berlin work released in 1973.
Tickets are already on sale (www.teatrocervantes.es) and priced the most expensive yet seen in the Terral festival – between 60 and 100 €.
However we also have news that a planned Lou Reed gig in Benidorm for July 26 has now been cancelled for ‘health reasons’, and that other planned gigs in Madrid and Girona are also now cancelled.
