New program to integrate foreigners in Marbella

The Town Hall wants to see better integration of the foreign community on the Costa del Sol.
Marbella Town Hall has announced a new program called ‘Integra’ which intends to improve the integration of foreign residents on the Costa del Sol, and to better relations between the nationalities on the coast.

Marbella is home to residents of 136 different nationalities and the new program has been put together with the Costa del Sol French Association.

Tourism councillor, José Luis Hernández, said the objective was to bring foreign residents together with summer activities and he said that a new foundation would promote the idea, with both public and private funding. Pablo Ruiz from the French Association said that some 70 evening events were planned between July 1 and September 30.
