The Spanish attacker has been playing down an incident with the side's trainer during the match against Russia on Tuesday.
Liverpool and Spanish footballer, Fernando Torres, has said that he would never make a bad gesture to the national team trainer, Luis Aragonés. The press yesterday carried reports that Aragonés was angry with the player who refused to shake hands with the trainer when taken off the pitch by him at the start of the second half of the side’s opening game against Russia on Tuesday.
The player told Telecinco that the two men had talked and that there was no problem.
Spain is now preparing for their next game, against Sweden tomorrow. Reports indicate that Luis Aragonés is planning to field the same team which proved successful against Russia.
