The Spanish basketball player has been in the United States for a year with the Grizzlies.
As had been speculated of late in the Spanish sports press, the top basketball player, Juan Carlos Navarro, has signed for Barcelona. The 28 year old returns to Barcelona after a year playing in the NBA in the United States for the Grizzlies.
He takes up his old number 11 shirt and has signed a contract for the next five seasons, and although the exact amount of the deal is not known it’s estimated that it has cost between 1.5 and 3 million € per season.
The signing is the first key action from the new Barça trainer, Xavi Pascual.
