The side will have to play without top goal scorer David Villa who remains injured.
The Spanish football team will have to face Germany in the final of the Euro 2008 Championships on Sunday night without star player and top goal scorer, David Villa. Team doctor, Jesús Jiménez, confirmed that he will be unable to play for some six days.
His absence from the starting eleven, because of a pulled muscle in the last game against Russia, means space for Cesc Fábregas who looks like being his replacement.

The third Spanish goal on Thursday night sent viewing figures through the roof with some 17 million viewers enjoying the action.

At the training session on Friday, Luis Aragonés, give those who played against Russia a light workout, while the other players in the squad had more serious training.
Those players who came on during the Russia game, Xabi Alonso and Dani Güiza, trained for about an hour in the Franz Horr stadium in Vienna.
The players were allowed freetime on Friday afternoon with their families and friends.

Reports from Germany indicate that there is respect and admiration for the current Spanish game, with many German commentators putting Spain as favourite.

King Juan Carlos has predicted that Spain will win the final 2-1, with the Monarch saying the side were fantastic against Russia. He made his comments as he was leaving a hotel in Naples, and also confirmed that he would be attending the match with Queen Sofia. The Prince and Princess of Asturias who were enthusiastic members of the crowd for the Russia match will not attend the final which is at 2045 CET on Sunday night.
