The leader of the Partido Popular was at a party rally in Torremolinos yesterday.
The Partido Popular leader, Mariano Rajoy, has joined demands from the party in Málaga for the Junta de Andalucía to authorise the construction of a third hospital to serve the city.
Rajoy said that a third hospital was needed, and signed the petition which the party has opened on the matter.
Rajoy was at a party rally held in Torremolinos yesterday. The leader of the P.P. in Andalucía, Javier Arenas, claimed that Andalucía had half the number of hospitals of Cataluña, despite having a million more inhabitants.
It comes after unions have alleged that the Andalucian Health Service has not updated the waiting list numbers published on the internet, regarding operations in the region. Unions claim the numbers displayed online are the same as a year ago.
