• Bullies expelled from Costa del Sol school after violent case of bullying - Mar 12, 2008 - 6:49 PM
The victim was 14 at the time of the attack and has been left with a limp.
The Generalitat regional government in Cataluña, has been ordered by the Catalan High Court of Justice, TSJC, to pay compensation of 100,000 € to an adolescent girl who suffered an aggression from two other pupils at a secondary school in Badalona.
The two pupils pushed the victim, Miriam B.R. against a wall and following the aggression the girl needed to have three operations to her hip and has been left with a limp. The attack happened in October 1999 when the victim was 14 years old.
The court ruling said the public service of Education had clearly acted in an abnormal way in the case because of the total absence of any control or supervision from the teachers at the time of the attack.
