Bibiana Aído has launched a new awareness campaign on domestic violence in Spain.
The Minister for Equality in Spain, Bibiana Aído, has implicated men in the fight against domestic violence.
Speaking at the launch of a new awareness campaign designed to draw attention to the problem she said that she wanted to make the victims of such macho violence more visible, and that now it was time to explain that the problem was based in who carries out the aggression, who generates the violence and who wants to dominate their partner. She said this was neither abstract nor generic and can not be tolerated.
The new campaign has the slogan ‘Zero tolerance in the face of the agressor’, but has different messages directed at men, women and also at children with three different television advertisements developed. The campaign has a budget of four million € and runs from today until the end of the year on TV, Radio, Press, Billboards and internet sites such as Facebook, Youtube and Messenger.
