The Chairman of Barcelona Football Club is being urged to resign at a board meeting tomorrow.
The board of Barcelona football club has been meeting late into the night to discuss the future of club chairman Juan Laporta. He lost a motion of no confidence with a 60% vote against him earlier, but the vote was not binding as it did not reach 66%.
Laporta has said he has not intention of resigning despite being urged to do so by the board.
Under the structure of the club, if 14 of the 18 board members resigns, then Laporta will also have to go.
He will preside over a new board meeting tomorrow and reports indicate that at least eight board members will try and get him to use the occasion to present his resignation.
