The Spanish rider could find himself sent to prison for three years.
Spanish rider Moisés Dueñas, the second Spaniard to be banned from the Tour de France following allegations of doping, has admitted the charge. It comes after the race investigators found doping material in the riders hotel room.
The rider from Salamanca now faces a possible two or three years in prison, and claims that he did not know the exact composition of the products he was administering to himself. The instruction judge has now granted bail to the rider who now waits to hear the extent of his punishment.
It comes as a third rider, the Italian Ricardo Riccò, has also tested positive in the Tour de France for EPO. He has denied the allegation.
