National Police based in Marbella have arrested five people in connection with a massive credit card fraud. The five face charges of continued fraud and all of them work in a mobile phone company in Puerto Banús where credit cards were taken and cloned.
Investigations started a year ago with the police detecting hundreds of fraudulent credit card operations. Some of the cloned cards found charges as high as 30,000 € being added to the account fraudulently. The total amount defrauded has been estimated to be 500,000 €.
