The ex Municipal Real Estate Assessor said he paid 73,800 Euros to the judge for favoured treatment in Marbella.
Speaking in court in Granada yesterday, the ex Municipal Real Estate Assessor in Marbella Town Hall, Juan Antonio Roca, admitted paying 73,800 € to the ex judge in Instruction Court number two in the town, Francisco Javier de Urquía. Roca said he made the payment in exchange for favoured consideration, and that the money was handed over in two envelopes in a meeting in the Maras Asesores offices.
Roca said that the money corresponded to the first payment and interests for the purchase of a home which the judge had acquired through the mediation of a friend, the businessman Arnaud Fabrice Albouhair, who is also charged in the case, and that the house contract was also signed in the Maras offices. Roca said he had decided to tell the truth despite being advised not to by his lawyer.
The judge denied bribery and said Roca had made the ‘absolutely false’ claim as part of a possible agreement he had reached with the prosecutor.

So the Worm turns? Urquia KNOWS he wasn't arrested and charged simply on
the word of ROCA and that there is other damning evidence against him so I
can't see why he's getting so hot under the collar about it and IF Roca
has made a deal with the Prosecutor to name names in order to get some sort
of reduced sentence, who cares. At the end of the day a lot of people who
thought they were all above the law and were safe and untouchable will now
be having a touch of the seconds. The only thing the Prosecution may need
to think about employing now Roca has started singing is a FOOD-TASTER ?
