Rafael Sánchez, Mayor of Sierra de Yeguas, denies the allegation and says he will not resign.

The first deputy mayor from the village of Sierra de Yeguas in Málaga, Josefa Torres from the P.P. has presented a denuncia against the P.P. Mayor of the town, Rafael Sánchez, in which she accuses him of a ‘consumed rape’ and making threats in the work place.

The denuncia was placed in the courts in Antequera with the alleged victim presenting a recorded conversation which she says is proof.

The Mayor has denied the allegations and says he will not resign, but it is understood the Partido Popular has drawn up the papers to expel him from the party.
