ETA terrorists academic qualifications under investigation

José Ignacio de Juana Chaos is due for release from prison next weekend.
The Deputy Prime Minister, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, revealed yesterday that the prosecutor has been, since 2005, investigating the academic qualifications claimed and presented by the ETA terrorist, José Ignacio de Juana Chaos, as part of his arguments for early release from prison.
A court case in Getxo is already investigating the alleged irregularities and the Deputy Prime Minister made it clear that ‘the law will always be applied’.
It comes after the El Mundo newspaper claimed that the terrorist, who is released from prison next weekend, had fraudulently obtained benefits in jail by falsifying approved university studies.
