The National Court has announced it is to draw up a report on the assets of the ETA activist José Ignacio de Juana Chaos, who is to be released from prison after serving 20 years this weekend. The court does so on the request of the AVT, Association of Terrorism Victims, and amid reports that the ownership of a flat in San Sebastian was given to his wife to avoid him compensating his victims’ families as ordered to do so by the courts.
