I am the NEW owner of St Javier´s International Nursery on the Golden Mile
in Marbella (behind Tony Roma´s Restaurant).
I have recently taken over the Nursery and we re-opened on the 1st of
September 2008.
I know that there has been some gossip with regards to the old Owner but I
recommend that you either call me or come to visit the Nursery to see for
yourselves!
Our education is Bi-Lingual on a daily 50/50 basis.
All of our staff are NEW but with years of experience. We have fully
certified, trained English and Spanish Teachers who impart lessons in both
languages as well as games, songs etc.
Friendly multi-cultural environment attending to children of all
nationalities and Religions, respecting their culture, religion and diet!!
We have our opening License from the Marbella Town Hall and we are actively
presenting and organising the Junta de Andalucia´s education license .
Hoping that this blog will allow any parent who´s children attend St
Javier´s or any parent who is contemplating sending their child to St
Javier´s to have direct contact with me asking any question that you may
wish.

The problem has been highlighted by the arrest of the owner of the St Javier's International Nursery in Marbella.
The case of the dangerous conditions at the St Javier’s International Nursery in Marbella, has led the authorities to take a closer look at other international schools in the area, and it’s now thought that at least twelve international schools are operating in the province of Málaga without permission.
The owner of St Javier’s has been arrested and she has been working there for 12 years without the regional Educational authorities knowing about it.
The Málaga Hoy newspaper says that there are at least a dozen international educational centres on the Costa del Sol which are not authorised. It says most of these are international establishments, in Mijas, Marbella and Estepona, and are operating without the approval of the regional authorities. They are generally nurseries but some teach up to the Bachillerato level.
Those that are correctly authorised are listed on the Regional Education Authority website - www.juntadeandalucia.es/educacion/
