Three fire raisers arrested in Sagunto, Valencia

The three are accused of starting as many as eight fires in the town earlier this month.
Three alleged fire raisers, all Spanish and aged between 18 and 34, have been arrested in Sagunto, Valencia, in connection with eight fires which were started deliberately between August 3 and 6.
One of the fires endangered the life of a man who was sleeping in a small outhouse, and others burnt out a parked Mercedes car and nearby construction works.
In Spain only 1 in a 1000 pyromaniacs is taken to court, and only one in four who starts a forest fire is finally condemned.
