Fernando Alonso comments on new Valencia formula one track

The two times World Champion said the sensation of speed on the track is incredible.

Fernando Alonso has said that the sensation of speed at the new Formula One track in Valencia Port is incredible. The European Grand Prix is held on the track for the first time this coming weekend, and the Spaniard says he hopes his performance will be better than in the Spanish Grand Prix at Montmelò last April where he had to abandon the race.

Alonso commented that the new track gave all the drivers an opportunity to show what they can do. He said he was working hard with the Renault engineers to try and ensure a good performance.
