It's thought that José Ignacio de Juana Chaos has been spending time in Ireland since his release from prison in Spain at the start of the month.

National Court Judge, Eloy Velasco, has ordered that the ETA activist, José Ignacio de Juana Chaos, be located so that he can be asked a series of questions in San Sebastian.

The high ranking ETA member was released from prison earlier this month after serving 21 years for the killing of 25 people, and is reported to have travelled to Dublin. He faces possible new charges of extolling terrorism in a letter which was read out in public in his name during an event held in San Sebastian on August 2 to celebrate his release. He has to respond to the question if it was he who wrote the letter concerned.

The National Court has acted after receiving three police reports on the matter.

"Locate him and shoot him" Isn't that what ETA do? sounds like you've descended to their level. I really don't understand why ETA is so feared in Spain, after all 800 deaths in over 30-40 years works out at approx 20 a year Hell, there were that many killed on the roads this weekend by people driving dangerously. Here's a good example of how the press seems to play on those fears. A couple of days ago 7+ people died in one road accident but what did the press have as their lead story the next day? why it was the 3 fireworks set off buy ETA in Malaga

I agree with Michael regarding the publicity. ETA thrive on column inches in the media and like all terrorist organisations they like to see their 'output' - no matter how insignificant, publicised. It leads them to believe that they are having a real effect.
You cant really blame the press. People are unfortunately killed on the roads every day but ETA only let off their 'damp-squibs' very occasionally!
