It follows a series of safety-related incidents and some nuclear plants in Spain recently.The CSN, Spanish Nuclear Safety Council, has demanded that the nuclear plants across the country be inspected and more investment be made. It comes after they have taken a look at recent safety-related incidents at certain centres.
Six nuclear power stations generate 20% of the electricity needed by Spain, although two of the stations, at Almaraz and Ascó have twin reactors.
