The Asturian driver told the press that Renault were the wild card in Spa.

Fernando Alonso remains optimistic of a good result at the Belgium Grand Prix which takes place this weekend, and has told the press that Renault are the wild card at Spa.

He told the press that at the age of 27 he has plenty of time to get back on top of the World Championship, be that with Ferrari or with any other team. He said the best moments of his career had been with Renault who was then beating Ferrari.

Many observers think Alonso will be driving for Ferrari next season, but for now Fernando told the press that he was looking for motivation.
