Spain beat Bosnia 1-0 in the 2010 World Cup qualifier played in Murcia.

Spain beat Bosnia 1-0 on Saturday night in the 2010 World Cup qualifier game. David Villa missed a penalty, but made up for that later by scoring the single goal. Manager Vicente Del Bosque, after his first official game, said that Spain lacked the final touch close to goal. Goalkeeper Iker Casillas said he was wearing a number 12 shirt during the match ‘by mistake’, but there were much more important things than the number of his shirt.

The international match in Murcia meant there were no first division games this weekend.

Girona lead the second division after two matches and a 3-0 win against Alicante
