The best health care in Spain is reported to be in Asturias.
Andalucía has the second best regional health service in Spain.
A new report on health services drawn up by the Federation of Associations for the Defence of Public Health, has concluded that only Asturias performs better.
Andalucía scores well for waiting times to see a specialist, but falls down on how much is actually spent per inhabitant of the region.
The report also looked at the number of doctors per 1000 inhabitants, and the number of hospital beds.
The worst health region, for the second year according to the report, is Valencia. The Canaries, Murcia and Madrid were only slightly better.
