Fernando Alonso wins at Singapore

The Spanish driver now says he will probably stay with Renault next season.

Fernando Alonso has won his 20th grand prix, at the historic first race under the spotlights of Singapore.

For once the safety car played into the Spaniard’s hands after he started 15th on the grid after a fuel problem during practice after the R28 showed signs of improvement.

Meanwhile Alonso has said that his priority is to continue with Renault next season, but that he will take a final decision at the end of the year. There are reports from his friends that he intends to continue in Formula One for six or seven more years.
