The tremor at 6,02am today was centred close to Morón de la Frontera in Sevilla.An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale was felt across five Andalucian provinces at 6,02am this (Thursday) morning.
There were three aftershocks after the main tremor which was centred to the southeast of Morón de la Frontera in Sevilla province.
The IGN, National Geographic Institute said one of the aftershocks, the third at 7,15am itself measured 3.5 on the Richter scale. They described the event as normal for the area.
There are no reports of any serious material damage or injuries.
