Italian arrested for Formula One ticket sales fraud

A 45 year old Italian is alleged to have defrauded 45,000 € from some 80 people.
A 45 year old Italian man has been arrested in Valencia for allegedly defrauding some 80 people of 45,000 € in total in the sale of tickets for the European Formula One Grand Prix held in the city on August 24.
National police say they opened an investigation after one of the victims placed a denuncia from someone who had paid 4,950 € into a bank account, but then who failed to be sent the tickets. The man will appear before the judge in instruction court 19 in the city shortly.
