New domestic violence victim in Spain

The latest victim is a 26 year old woman from Santurce, Vizcaya.

Members of the Ertzaintza Basque police force have arrested a 31 year old man in Santurce, Vizcaya, after the body of his 26 year old wife was found bound in the family home in the town. It’s understood that he has admitted killing his wife whose body was found at 4pm yesterday after a friend of the couple alerted the police to a possible crime at home.

They found the body of the woman with both her hands and feet tied, and saw blood in the kitchen.

It takes the number of fatalities from domestic violence in Spain so far this year to 50.
