The allegations of agression are now being investigated by the Spanish authorities.

Immigrants from El Ejido in Almería have placed claims of brutality from the Guardia Civil on You Tube.

A young Moroccan has used the internet video portal has shown damage to plastic greenhouses in the area and said that the nighttime attacks are usual behaviour from the Guardia Civil in the Tierras de Almería district of El Ejido.

An attack carried out last weekend is now being investigated by the Defensor del Pueblo in Andalucía, the regional Ombudsman, as well as the provincial government and the Civil Guard itself.
On the video the immigrants claim that the only objective is to frighten them.

Similar cases have also been reported in the Níjar area.
