Roads are expected to be busy despite the poor weather.
Despite the forecast bad weather, the Bank Holiday, Puente de El Pilar, this weekend with Monday a national fiesta, is expected to bring nearly a million vehicles onto the roads of Málaga.
The DGT traffic authority forecasts that 700,000 journeys will be made on the A-7 road this weekend with mornings and evenings expected to be the busiest times.
Special traffic patrols including the use of helicopters will be in force.
