The print was found in a hotel where it is thought it was being offered for sale.

A Goya print which was stolen from an exhibition in Colombia a month ago has been found in a hotel in Bogota. ‘Tristes Pensamientos de lo que va a Acontecer’ is from the painter’s Disasters of War series, and was found under some blankets in the hotel in central Bogota.

It’s thought that it had been taken to the hotel to be shown to potential buyers.
