It happened in Alicante last April and the gun has still not been found.

Alicante City Hall has decided to fine a local police man with a month’s suspension without pay after he left his firearm by mistake in the toilets of the court building in Benalúa.

The Human Resources Committee considers it a ‘serious fault’ which represents potential danger to the citizens as the firearm has still not been recovered.

The agent says he remembers leaving his gun with his sunglasses on top of the cistern but when he returned just minutes later they had gone. The incident happened last April.
