José María Aznar hits out against those who believe in climate change

The ex Spanish Prime Minister said climate change was not real.
Ex Spanish Prime Minister, José María Aznar, has hit out at those ‘standard-bearers of the apocalypse’ who continue to warn about climate change.
He made the charge at the presentation in Madrid today of a book in Spanish ‘Blue Planet (Not Green)’ written by the President of the Czech Republic, Vackla Klaus, which has been edited by the FAES far right-wing think tank of which Aznar is President.
Aznar said that climate change is not a real phenomenon, but only a ‘scientifically questionable’ theory which had become the new religion, the followers of which were the ‘enemies of freedom’.
His words fly in the face of the conclusions from 2,500 scientists who make up the Inter-governmental panel on Climate Change (IPCC) of the United Nations, on the human causes of global warming and the serious consequences that will be produced if CO2 emissions are not reduced.

And he's right. Visit the following web-sites to discover the truth:
www.icecap.us and www.wattsupwiththat.com ...And what ABOUT those 2500
scientists at the IPCC? Their leader is Rajendra Pachauri, and, when asked
recently to reveal what he had done personally to shrink his carbon
footprint, he replied, and I quote, "I've become a vegetarian. I try to
minimize the use of cars. Where I've failed is my impact with regard to air
travel. I tell people I was born a Hindu who believes in reincarnation. It
will take me the next six lives to neutralize my carbon footprint. There's
no way I can do it in one lifetime." End quote. So there you have it from
the man in charge. You can buy that huge 4*4 because you have five hundred
or so years to salve your conscience... as long as you say you're a Hindu,
of course. ...Give me a break.

Of course he's right. If the climate is changing it is because that's what
the climate does as a matter of course. Driving a 4x4 and rearing a few
cattle have no effect whatsoever.
It's the king's new clothes syndrome all over again. Anyone who dares to contradict the causes of climate change is ridiculed so the silent majority keeps its mouth shut.

So what if you're ridiculed? It's fun to be ridiculed by morons. I don't
care if morons don't respect me.
