Immigrant found hiding in a sofa in Tarifa port

A 35 year old van driver has been arrested.

The Civil Guard at the customs in Tarifa port has arrested a 35 year old van driver, named with the initials R.B. on charges of acting against foreigners rights.

It comes after a paperless immigrant was found hiding in a sofa being carried in the van on its arrival yesterday on the ferry from Tangiers.

The van driver will appear in court shortly, the immigrant faces repatriation once identified.
