The Vice-President elect phoned the Spanish Prime Minister yesterday.
United States Vice President, Joe Biden, held a phone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, yesterday.
El País reports that Biden intends visiting Spain shortly after being sworn into his post on January 20.
The paper claims the two men discussed some of the agreements reached in the G20 meeting in Washington last weekend, and in particular the role that Spain can play in cooperation with Latin America.
