Three doormen from the club are alleged to have beaten an 18 year old client to death, after he bumped into the girlfriend of one of them.

The Madrid discoteca, Balcón de Rosales, where 18 year old Álvaro Ussía was allegedy beaten to death by three doormen last weekend, will never open again.

The closure order has been issued by Madrid City Hall which has admitted that the venue had collected a whole series of complaints about irregularities.

However it has been made clear that the tragedy last Saturday has nothing to do with the infractions committed earlier by the venue.

It follows a demonstration by the victim’s friends who have been promised better policing in the area of nightclubs.

Madrid Mayor, Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, called on club owners to better consider who they employ as doormen.
