The current councillor for culture, María del Carmen Miralles, has been called in for questioning in the Astapa case

The calling of another Socialist Councillor from Estepona to declare before the judge instructing the Astapa corruption case in the town, places more instability on the local Town Hall.

María del Carmen Miralles, is currently in charge of Culture in Estepona, but was in the town planning discipline department between 2003 and 2007 when the ex Mayor, Antonio Barrientos currently on remand, was in governing coalition with the PES local Estepona party.

Judge Isabel Conejo continues to take witness statements as the instruction of the case continues.
