The blonde was in the Spanish capital to promote Telefónica's new social networking site keteke.com

Paris Hilton arrived in Madrid today, and promptly cancelled all her interviews. She had been contracted to promote the online community set up by Telefónica, www.keteke.com.

Paris said she would rather meet the press one by one rather than hold a large press conference but in the very first interview for a Spanish TV channel the presenter took out a condom and Paris’s bodyguard snatched it in fit of rage. That’s because an earlier commentator, Harvey Levin, had described the socialite as ‘an oversized human condom’.

El Mundo reports that Paris left for her room saying she would meet no more press, but was finally talked into holding a normal press conference. Either way she has generated coverage for Telefónica’s social network with her social skills.
Her best line in Madrid – ‘I’m living proof that blonds are not dumb’.
