Anti gay marriage judge is moved from Dénia

Laura Alabau has refused to carry out several gay marriages when in the First Instance Court Three in Dénia.

The controversial Dénia judge, Laura Alabau, who refused to carry out gay and lesbian weddings in the town has been transferred. She is being moved to another court which has no responsibilities for marriage.

The General Council for Judicial Power, CGJP, has decided to move her to a court in Castellón where she will be unable to block such unions.
