The wing of the light aircraft hit a warehouse when preparing for take-off.
Fernando Alonso has suffered a small plane accident at the Malindi airport in Kenya where he is on holiday at the invitation of the Renault boss, Flavio Briatore. The Italian has a large hotel complex there and the driver from Asturias spent the New Year there.
It’s understood that a wing of Alonso’s light plane hit a warehouse when preparing for take off yesterday.
The Renault Press Chief, Patrizia Spinelli, told the El Mundo newspaper that it was just a ‘small shock’ and that all those on the plane were unhurt and walked away.
