The autopsy carried out on the baby has established that she drowned.
The case of the abandoned baby girl whose body was found on the Huelin beach in Málaga took an unexpected turn on Tuesday with the confirmation that the child was alive when thrown into the sea last Sunday.
The conclusion comes from the autopsy carried out in the baby at the Legal Medicine Institute in Málaga which showed the presence of water in the baby’s lungs and other internal organs, indicating that she drowned.
The National Police in Málaga are searching for the parents of the child.
