Police think the shooting was drug related.

The body of a 30 year old man from Villena has been found, shot in the face, on waste ground in Novelda. Named with the initials O.S.M., police say the victim had been arrested some years ago for drug trafficking so they think a drug-related settling of scores is the reason for his death.

An Audi A3 car, owned by the victim was found nearby, and now an autopsy is to be carried out.
