The ex President of the United States had a short technical stop over in his private jet.

Bill Clinton has spent 42 minutes on Tenerife yesterday, Wednesday. It was due to a technical stop over for his private jet and was carried out in top secret. He greeted several Guardia Civil in the terminal at the Tenerife Sur Airport and had a cafe solo before continuing with his journey.

The ex President of the United States had been on the island on an official visit in 2005 where he spoke to the Cabildo Insular. It has recently been revealed his fee for that appearance was between 20,000 and 25,000 €.
