The Princesa Theatre has been closed for some 20 years

A spectacular fire in Valencia has reduced the iside of the old Princesa Theatre to little more than a ruin.

Four teams of firefighters were called to the building in Calle Moro Zeit in the city centre which has not been in use for some 20 years. There are no reports of any injuries.

The blaze started at 3am this morning.

The Princesa was one of the first theatres in Valencia, built in 1853.
