The latest method used by drug traffickers trying to get cocaine into Spain has been broken up by customs officials and National Police in Barcelona.

A 42 piece dinner set, with glasses, plates and bowls, made out of a total of 20 kilos of cocaine was intercepted, sent to a 35 year old private individual in Cataluña from Maracaibo in Venezuela.

It was sent by an international package service, and police believe the recipient had been contracted by the gang in Venezuela to distribute the drug in Barcleona.

After the package was delivered the police swooped. 20 of the 30 kilo weight of the plates was found to be made of cocaine.
