smallerBy h.b. - Mar 26, 2009 - 6:42 AMThe two had set sail from Huelva on February 21.Two men who have been drifting at sea for a month have been rescued close to Tenerife. They have been named as a 52 year old Spaniard from Huelva, J.R. and a 29 year old Moroccan.
Despite their ordeal both are reported to be in good health considering they have been days without food or water. They were found in a four metre long semi rigid boat by a passing merchant ship on Tuesday, and arrived in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s thought the men had been at sea since February 21 when they left Huelva to go fishing, and then suffered engine failure.
