Number of confirmed Swine Flu cases in Spain rises to 73

The number is an increase of 16 in 24 hours

The Spanish Ministry of Health says there are now 73 confirmed cases of the A(H1N1) flu across the country, 16 more over the past 24 hours. A further 56 cases are under study.

Cataluña is the region with most cases, 21, followed by Andalucía and Valencia, both with 19, Castilla-La Mancha with 5, Madrid with 4, and Aragón, Extremadura, Galicia, Murcia and the Basque Country with one each.

Only two of those infected remain in hospital, and five of them were not travellers to Mexico.
