Granada I.T. teacher sentenced for corruption of minors

A 35 year old Granada I.T. teacher who paid youngsters to strip off in front of their web cams has been found guilty of corruption of minors and has been sentenced to 16 years in prison.
Named by Europa Press as M.S.C., he used Messenger to contact 10 to 12 year olds, pretending to be a girl of a similar age. Once he had gained their confidence, he gave them small gifts of a mobile phone top-up or credits to play games on the Internet, persuading some to strip off and saving the images on his computer. According to the sentence from the provincial court, he threatened to infect their computer with a virus if the children tried to cut off contact with him.
The news agency reports six victims in different parts of Spain and the court has ruled a distancing order to be in place for the next 10 years. A fine of almost 8,000 € is included as part of the sentence.
