Seven small boats were intercepted by the Spanish authorities on Tuesday
A total of 115 immigrants arrived on the coasts of Almería on Tuesday in as many as seven small ‘patera’ boats.
Coastguard sources says that most of the arrivals were adult Algerians, and most arrived in good health.
The coastguard vessel ‘Salvamar Denébola’ and helicopter ‘Heimer 207’ took part in the operation to intercept the boats, along with the Guardia Civil vessel ‘Rio Almanzora’.
